Mabel found a yummy tissue on a walk and went on a little bit of a trip. Both mentally and physically (to the vet who had her sleep it off).

April was a sleepy month for Mabel.

Mabel turned ONE in May! It was unclear to her why the hat was necessary. Rest assured, she wore the hat for approximately 45 seconds for photos before getting showered with treats and getting to have a sleepover with her BFF Bodhi and Käthe’s parents.

While Mabel didn’t technically outgrow her puppy collar, Käthe was a little concerned about her breaking it when going after squirrels so she got upgraded to a grownup collar!

Mabel loves going to Glencoe because it means she gets to frolic relatively freely.
On the RV trip to TX, Chandler, Käthe, and Mabel slept above the cab of the vehicle. Sometimes Käthe and Chandler went to bed before everyone else had lights out and Mabel was not interested in missing a moment of the action (even when she could barely keep her eyes open!).

We drove all through the night on Thanksgiving into Friday to avoid a blizzard… this is Mabel in the morning after waking up with us every couple hours when we would stop for gas and driver changes.
